Video highlights from the apps (36-minute version)

This montage provides a sampling of some of the video media in the Fort Vancouver Mobile apps. This app is much more than just a video distribution system, but these videos show the variety of content, from expositional segments to new journalism to those intended to prompt the development of interactive narratives.

Technology, Knowledge and Society conference presentation

Just returned from a great interdisciplinary conference in Vancouver, B.C. -- called Technology, Knowledge and Society -- in which I presented a talk titled: "Analog versus Mobile: Place-based Comparisons of Media Created for Learning about Community History." The presentation generated a dynamic discussion, during the Q&A, and especially afterward in the halls of the conference center. Could very well lead to a couple of new collaborators. Will keep you posted.
